How often?
Based on availability and conditions the Canadian Rockies Alpine season runs typically from May 15 – September 30 every day rain or shine. Itineraries can sometimes change due to seasonal wildlife closures.

Wildlife? May to mid July
Waterfalls? June to mid July
Trekking Peaks? June to late September
Alpine flowers? June to late July
Bugs? We don't get many and due to our cool mountain nights the season is short lived. Altitude also helps since there is usually always a breeze.
Camping? June to September
Full Circuit hikes? July, August, September
Best temperatures? May, June, July, August, September
Quietest times? May, June and September
Busiest times? July 1st (Canada day), August 1 (Heritage day) and September 1st (Labor day)

How do I get there?
Fly into Calgary International Airport (YYC) then via one of the Airport to Banff shuttle services or we can pick you up. Calgary is one hour from Banff. Lake Louise is half hour from Banff. Jasper is two hours from Lake Louise.
